Here is a guideline to help you with Characters we expect to see on the site. Follow these rules when applying for your characters:
Patients
Staff members
Psych Doctors: Players who take on doctors will need to stay on top of all the patients and everything that happens to them. Take an orderly instead if you’re not prepared for the work. If you are prepared for the work you will be given patients that you will have to care about. Read up on them and take an interest or you will be demoted to an orderly instead.
Medical Doctors: Also a lot of work. Make sure you know a hell of a lot about medicine or like researching. You need to know which drugs to give for what.
Orderlies: The most fun you can have with a sane character is to make an orderly! They will be assigned a patient or a group of patients and will be almost like a guardian to those patients. One will be a HRP. The rest will be MRPs or LRPs. Your HRP will be with you all the time until you lock them down for bed time. The other patients are just mildly under your supervision and you get to decide when to take them into town or what to do with them.
Security: Security are armed with walkie talkies and sedatives as well as restraints bands for restraints. Security is the power of the facility, employed by the drug company rather than Shepard. Shepard hates them and they, most of them, hate Shepard. They are Frederick’s eyes and ears and the law. They are the ones that most often go into town and each has a dog.

Patients
- Patients range from high risk to low risk. Here’s how to tell them apart:
Low Risk Patients:- Patients who are recovering drug addicts
- Patients with mild anxiety disorders that do not make them cause harm to themselves or others.
- Patients suffering from Sexual deviancy that do not make them cause harm to others.
- Patients with mild depression that have only attempted to commit suicide a maximum of two times.
- Patients with any other sort of disorders that do not make them cause harm to others or themselves.
- Medium risk patients in recovery.
Medium Risk Patients:- Recovering High Risk Patients
- Patients who have mild delusional disorders
- Patients who self harm
- Patients suffering from depression or anxiety disorders that cause them to have attempted suicide more than twice.
- Patients who cannot function normally without their disorder flaring up such as those suffering from OCD episodes.
- Sexual deviants that rely on causing harm to other and/or require harm to themselves.
- Sexual deviants with rape charges to their names.
- Relapsed Drug addicts
High Risk Patients:- Patients who have Schizophrenic disorders.
- Patients who have killed due to their mental conditions
- Explosive disorders
- Patients who have severely harmed others intentionally or otherwise.
- Patients who have very little cognitive functions due to their disorders.
- Patients who are recovering drug addicts
- Patients can be no younger than 16 years of age. There is no age limit on the maximum age however. If you want a younger character try playing a local of the town? Who knows? They might fall in love with one of the patients of the facility and play out a Romeo and Juliet fantasy. Go check the cannon list before making an original.
- Follow the code of conduct or a member of staff will find you and punish you. Unless you want that sort of drama in your character’s life. Always fun isn’t it?
- Answering the application requires you to imagine that it is a medical form for your characters. Don’t give unnecessary information that is not required and keep your answers short and precise as the doctors will not wanna read over loads of stuff to get an idea of who your character is and what they are suffering from. All relevant information needs to be added.
- Please try and make characters that are believable. A character having been raped, losing their parents, the love of their lives and everything else.. is not believable... well, in rare cases yes, but you get the idea right? A character like that needs a LOT of research and we’re trained to look for flaws as TK staff.
- If you post your character as inactive in our activity checks they will have died... The end and if you do NOT make up a story of their death and send it to our staff, we’ll make it up on our own.
