Havers Town is nestled in between two mountain ranges with only one, single lane road between the mountains in and out. The town came from small beginings with the very first settlers being the De Santigo family, The Warwick family, The Aiken Family and the Gerst Family. Out of these families the Gersts were the most famous and horror stories, to this day, are told from drunken lips about how the family manor up the hill is now haunted with the spirits that will not sleep.
The Gerts manor fell into the hands of a determined young psychologist and his elder partner. Dr Kouto Capello and his elderly companion, Dr.Madhu Jensson turned Gerst manor into an asylum in the late 1900s performing ghastly experiments on those who were unfortunate enough to land in their care. Word is that Jensson turned crazy because of the spirits that haunt the place and Capello hung himself with his own tie. Then again, there’s a more sinister side to that story as well.
The Gerst manor remained empty, shut down, desolate until a middle aged doctor with a gentle nature took over it and turned it into Twinridge Institution. The locals fear it to be just the same as before and they are not kinda to the inhabitants of the facility or the patients that come venturing into town. They have reason to not be. It a sad fact that history often repeats itself. Havers residents say that the wolves howl at night only because the patients call to them for help.
If one were to happen to escape where could they run? The nearest town from Haver is a six hour car trip. By that time they will be caught. The wildlife is not to be messed with either in the dark forest surrounding the facility and you’d think it a miracle if a town’s person lifts a finger to help one of the ‘Waiting to be Corpses’. They want no part in the manor’s curse.
